Florida Senate Race

This is a special election to fill the remaining two years of former U.S. Senator Marco Rubio's term, which ends in January 2029. Rubio vacated his seat in January 2025 upon being named Secretary of State by President Donald Trump, and Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Ashley Moody to temporarily fill the vacancy.
